( – On the morning of 14th August, the International Investment Trade and Service Company (INTERSERCO) has celebrated its 35th anniversary and received the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the Prime Minister.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Prime Minister, Mr. Le Van Hoat – City Commissioner, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Council has awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the INTERSERCO Company and the Second Class Labor Medal to Mr. Phung Tien Toan – Chairman of the INTERSERCO Company.

In the same ceremony, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has given awards to Mr. Phung Tien Toan – Chairman and Mr. Pham Van Yen – General Director of the Company for their contributions to the development of the Vietnamese business community. Moreover, the Company also received certificates of merits from the Prime Minister, and many employees of the Company has received merits from the Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee.

Founded on 15th August 1980, INTERSERCO is a company under the Hanoi People’s Committee. After 35 years of development, Interserco has become a large company with 26 subsidiaries and member companies, operating under the mother-subsidiary model. Interserco is widely known for its logistics services, manpower supplying, trade, import-export, domestic and international tourism, entertainment, real estate and construction works.

Giving speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan – City Commissioner, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee states that: “These prestige awards of the Government are the recognition of the efforts and dedication of the heads and the employees of the INTERSERCO Company, especially “captain” Phung Tien Toan. The Company has significantly contributed to the economy of the Capital; 35 years of development through self-reliance, creativity and solidarity of the whole company has enabled INTERSERCO to thrive over 2 centuries of economic upheaval and international integration.”

At the end of 2015, INTERSERCO will be converting its business model through the equitisation process in order to attract investments and contributions from strategic stockholders and other economic entities
